Kim started working at Dave’s in 2002 and became the owner in 2007. She prides herself in knowing most of her customers by their first name. Kim treats her employees and customers like family! Being a woman business owner… she empowers women to learn about their cars and know the importance of maintenance. Her number one priority in life is her family! Her children and grandchildren are the reason she works so hard!

Lauren greets our customers, answers phones, gives estimates, provides rides to our customers and also keeps our social media up to date. There is no problem telling that Lauren is Kim’s daughter…they make a great duo when they work together! Lauren has been involved with Dave’s Auto since she was a young girl, from when her mom started working here over 2 decades ago! Lauren is a mother to a beautiful little girl Skarlett who is her whole life!

Terry has worked here at Dave’s Auto for over 3 decades and personally knows most of our customers by their first name. He is an expert at emission issues, engine lights and other weird symptoms with your vehicle. Many other shops will send their hard-to-diagnose issues to Terry to figure out. He can find and repair almost anything. His credentials are impressive!

Chuck the comedian of the shop and enjoys making people laugh. He is our most selfless tech, he comes in on his days off, he comes in after hours, he will do anything it takes to complete his assigned vehicles, his customer service sets the bar here at Dave’s Auto. Chuck’s family has deep roots here in Ramona where Chuck has been a part of the Thursday night dart league at the Turkey for years. Oscar Pike was his Uncle and the Pikes are well known to Ramona. Chuck is a familiar face on Ramona Cruise Nights as well. He loves his family and enjoys being a papa!

Gordon is a New Mexico transplant and is bilingual, but he is a cowboy at heart. He has 4 children and loves spending time with his kids! He is our heavy line specialist with R&R “Removal and Replacement” of engines, transmissions, clutches, etc. Gordon participates in a lot of events locally, you will see him at all the rodeos, barbecue contests, VFW events, and karaoke night at Way Point Saloon. He is a TRUE Ramonian!

Skarlett has grown up at the shop, she is what we like to call the “shop baby” and now “shop kid” Skarlett in her toddler stages up until starting kindergarten was here with us every day! She is now in school Monday-Friday but is still here in the afternoons and occasionally on Saturdays. Skarlett loves being at work with her mom and grandma, on top of her extracurricular activities (dance, softball and horseback riding) If you ask her if she wants to go home or to work with us, her answer is always work!
