- Need to diagnos NOTE: If customer chooses to get repairs done elsewhere, customer is responsible to pay for an additional smog inspection $46.75 + smog certificate $8.25. If customer has repairs done here 2nd smog inspection fee is waived, customer is responsible to pay $8.25 for certificate.
- Run scan test 3 codes stored #P0380, #P0404 and #P0540 test code #P0404 (egr circuit fault) found bad egr vacuum solenoid, need to replace and retest. Test codes #P0380 and #P0540 (glow plug circuit), test electrical, found no power to the glow plug module. Found a bad fuse, recommend replace and retest.
- Test found no power to glow plug module, Test found bad fuse, replaced fuse and test, has short, Test wiring found wire from glow plug relay to air intake heater shorted, repair wire then test, OK.
- Replace egr solenoid, clear codes and test drive to rest OBD/MONITORS then retest, ok, no codes returned.
- Test a/c not cold, found low on Freon evacuate system vacuum down add leak dye charge and test a/c is cold now test for leaks, none found at this time customer can drive and advise
- Change oil and oil filter,checked all fluid levels and topped off as needed.
